Paws & Claws Adoptions is a small self-funded volunteer group dedicated to reducing the flow of unwanted cats and dogs into pounds and vet clinics for euthanasia. By enabling fostering and promoting adoption, Paws & Claws Adoptions aims to re-home the rescued/surrendered animals into what we call their 'furever' home. An interim foster home ensures animals are kept in a family type environment to help them better adjust to new homes. Foster care volunteers are in high demand so Paws & Claws Adoptions encourage you to consider if there is room in your home for a special soul. The stay is temporary, but the joy is life long.
Paws & Claws Adoptions believe that by de-sexing kittens at a young age we can reduce the number of animals born to die. All our animals are desexed prior to adoption, as well as micro-chipped and vaccinated. Flea and worm treatment is also done frequently. Cost for adoption covers these services.
